Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 9, 2026

Dad Just Reply exists to keep family memories safe, so privacy is not a footnote for us. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and the control you have over it.

Who we are

Dad Just Reply is operated by Snider LLC. If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at hi@dadjustreply.com.

Information we collect

  • Account information: your name and email address when you sign up.
  • Recipient information: the name and email address of the parent or loved one you choose to send questions to.
  • The memories themselves: the questions you select or write, and the written and voice answers your Recipient sends back.
  • Payment information: handled by Stripe. We receive confirmation of your subscription and limited billing details, but we never see or store your full card number.
  • Usage and device data: basic technical information (such as log data and approximate device or browser type) needed to operate and secure the Service.

How we use your information

  • to deliver questions to your Recipient and collect their answers;
  • to send gentle reminders and notify you when they have replied;
  • to transcribe voice answers into text so they are easy to read and keep;
  • to process your subscription and prevent fraud;
  • to provide support and respond to your requests;
  • to keep the Service secure and improve how it works.

Voice recordings and transcription

When a Recipient answers by voice, we store the recording and use a third-party AI provider to transcribe it into text. The audio and transcript are part of your private archive. We do not use your recordings or answers to train third-party AI models.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the Service, under contracts that limit their use of it, including:

  • Stripe, for payment processing;
  • our email delivery provider, to send questions, reminders, and notifications;
  • our hosting and database provider, to store your account and archive;
  • an AI transcription provider, to convert voice answers to text.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger or sale of the business (in which case we will let you know).

Emails to your Recipient

We email the Recipient at the address you provide, on your behalf, to deliver questions and reminders. Those emails include a private link rather than requiring them to create an account. A Recipient can ask us to stop emailing them at any time.

Your rights and choices

You can, at any time:

  • access and export your archive;
  • ask us to correct inaccurate account information;
  • ask us to delete your account and the memories in it;
  • cancel your subscription from your account settings.

Depending on where you live (for example, the EU, UK, or California), you may have additional rights, such as the right to object to certain processing or to lodge a complaint with a regulator. To exercise any right, email hi@dadjustreply.com.

Data retention

We keep your archive for as long as your account is active so your memories stay available to you. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we must keep limited records (for example, for tax or legal reasons).

Security

We use technical and organizational measures to protect your information, such as encryption in transit and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we treat these memories as the irreplaceable things they are.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to keep the Service secure. We do not use them to sell your data.

Children

The Service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. A Recipient is an adult you choose to invite.

International transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for those transfers.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make a material change, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you.
